We hope Thursday’s event left you inspired and satisfied! The canapés were thoughtfully crafted to demonstrate three major food and beverage trends, using hand-selected ingredients from Langdon’s pantry.
Below, discover each canapé concept and the hero ingredients that created those delicious flavour profiles.
As people and their palates become more global, so do the dishes we enjoy, whether dining out or at home. More nuanced than simply fusion, consumers are demanding context and regionality in their food and want it to reflect both new culinary traditions and age old customs.
As more consumers lead busier lives, their time becomes all the more precious. They are looking for quick fixes for home cooking and hacks to maximise taste. Willingness to spend time cooking is dwindling, particularly with Gen Z, creating opportunities for brands offering time saving tasty solutions.
Where consumers are cutting back on spending in light of the ever increasing cost of living and inflation, they are focusing on value for money. Despite this, they are still looking for little luxuries to elevate their home dining experiences, making their regular every day meals that little bit more special with a premium touch.

A true taste of summer, our cordial features Australian native Lemon Myrtle and sweet raspberries, offering a bright, sweet, and refreshing cordial.
Lemon Myrtle is perfect added to tea blends with the likes of lemongrass, verbena and ginger for a zingy and zesty infusion. Alternatively, add to a salt blend for a unique citrus kick.
Crunchy fresh baquette carries our signature Langdon Bánh mì, a symphony of flavours. Aromatic, umami, tangy, and full of texture, these Bánh mì are a taste sensation.
Crispy, fragrant mushrooms and aromatic pork belly pair perfectly with umami mushroom pâté for a harmonious blend of flavours. Finished off with tangy and spicy pickled carrots and daikon and punchy pickled chilli.
Gluten, Soy, Mustard
Aji Amarillo gives a fruity and slightly sweet flavour with berry undertones, creating a floral and spicy skewer. Dip into one of our pimped out mayos, either coronation curry mayo or bright and zesty yuzu.
Milk, Gluten (from wheat)
Verdant and beautifully simple, these pea crostini showcase the delicacy of spring with the vibrant flavour of dried wild garlic.
As consumers continue to embrace seasonal eating, wild garlic is fast becoming recognised as one of Britain’s most fleeting and sought-after ingredients. Closely associated with spring, fresh green salads, and the first barbecues of the year, its bright, aromatic character resonates instantly. This unique, highly seasonal ingredient is one of the latest additions to the Langdon pantry.

Light, vibrant, and full of character, these Vietnamese beef brisket lettuce cups balance the heat from the allergen-free togarashi with the fragrant lemongrass dressing on the beef, and clean crisp of the lettuce.
Vietnamese-inspired cuisine continues to shine for its balance of brightness, texture, and gentle spice. Beef brisket is twice marinated and twice-cooked to reveal fantastic texture, with beautiful barbequed char and caramelisation.
Soy
M&S A-List spices are expertly blended to create a distinctive curry profile that’s vibrant in colour, rich in flavour, and layered with texture.
A delicate crunch comes from kalonji seeds and our patented puffed pulses and legumes, while an aromatic medley of Indian spices, including cumin, turmeric, coriander, and more, brings joyful warmth and depth to every bite.
